Daniel Stidsen

I work in supply chain management, with 15 years of experience spanning industry, enterprise software, and consulting. That path has given me a perspective that ranges from high-level strategy to the operational details of how systems actually work.

What I’m drawn to in supply chain is the complexity. Many small, moving pieces must align for the system to function efficiently and effectively. When it works, it’s almost invisible. When it doesn’t, everyone feels it.

I have a Master of Science in Analytics from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain and Information Systems from Penn State University.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, mostly about history, finance, and faith. I follow the markets more closely than necessary. I’m a Penn State and NFL football fan, and I do some work with NFL Films for fun. I live in Pittsburgh with my family.

Writing is a creative outlet for me. It helps me think more clearly, work through ideas, and tell stories I think are worth sharing.
